My life is so full of blessings and I am so Thankful for every one.
This was written in my church bulletin and I just loved it and thought I would share on this special day.
Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.
Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you, Lord, that I can see. Many are blind.
Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.
Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, my children are so loud thank you, Lord, for my Family. There are many who are lonely.
Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.
Even though the routine of my job is often monotonous, thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.
Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for life.

A Good Day
Making the most of Thanksgiving break. The day started out lounging around the house (which is considered a good day anytime:) Lydia is not much for lounging but playing with her toys in my kitchen cabinet while I mas making lunch.Wanting to enjoy the beautiful weather we took the girls to feed the ducks (well this time it was geese) at River Front Park.
Taiah and Lydia couldn't help but to go play on the playground for a while.
After that we was wondering what else we could do fun with the girls (McMinnville REALLY needs something here for family fun.) They kept asking to go to Chuck E Cheeses and we enjoy Chuck E Cheeses just as much as them but didn't feel like driving to Murfressboro. So we mentioned going bowling and Taiah was so excited. The girls had so much fun and have been asking to go back ever since.

Taiah rewarded!!!
At West Elementary they have assembly every Thursday. Due to the field trip it got pushed to Friday. Taiahs class had the program for it and all the parents in her class were invited. Her class did a very good job with their number puzzles (it was her math class). Anyway every assembly they give out different awards and my Taiah with several other kids got the "Caught Being Good Award". I'm glad that I happened to be there and got to see her get that. I am so PROUD of my Taiah!!! She is a very good kid. God truly blessed me with her. Here is a few pics.
Field Trips!!!
Taiah has been so exited and counting down the days. On Thursday Taiah had a field trip to the Art Center in Woodbury. Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity to go with her (I remember my Mom always going on my field trips, no wonder because they are so fun). Taiah's class went to see "The Emperors New Clothes". Taiah loved the play. The actors did a wonderful job, to bad I didn't get to take any pictures of them. Afterwards we all went and ate our sacked lunches that seemed to be a little chaotic (it was a small room and a lot of kids)
This is Taiah on the bus with her friend Lluvia, one picture of them being serious for a slight
second and one picture of them being totally themselves.
Taiahs School Thanksgiving
I usually try to eat lunch with Taiah at least once a week. We both enjoy it! It is such an experience to eat with so many kids and to sit at those tiny luch tables. Lisening to the kids cut up and play around is so funny. This past Wednesday for thanksgiving Taiah had her lunch in her classroom. After everyone ate Mrs. Dyer had the kids make Thanksgiving turkeys (very cute).^Her Daddy helping to make the turkey!
^Her finished work-of-art!
^And of course Lydia helping to eat the turkey!

Tag Your It!!!
So Candice decided to tag me about a week ago so I guess I'll try to post 7 weird things about myself. This will be kinda hard considering I'm not weird at all :) Maybe special.
- I have a really bad nervous habit (not a normal bad habit like biting my nails or twirling my hair), I peel pieces of skin off of my lips. I know this sounds gross but I have had a problem with this as long as I can remember. I go for a long period of time without doing it, then all of a sudden I'll notice my lips are so sore and a lot of the times bleeding then I won't quit for weeks until I really concentrate on quiting. I think it could be inherited because one of my Aunts and my nephew has the same problem. One thing I've noticed though, if I leave them alone they heal up pretty fast. (Now #1 I know is weird)
- The toilet paper roll drives me CRAZY if it is falling from the bottom. It has to be flowing from the top of the roll like it is suppose to be :)
- I can not sleep unless my covers are straight, nice and neat on the bed. Josh on the other hand doesn't care if their twisted up, on the floor, all on him or even off the mattress. When Josh does work 3rd shift and I sleep by myself the bed still looks made up by morning with very few adjustments.
- I am a multi-dipper. Example: If I eat chicken strips I need several different types of dipping sauce with each bite Ranch, BBQ, Honey-Mustard, ketchup, mustard, anything that's available at the time. I do the same for french fries. I've also been known to dip my pizza in Ranch or Thousand Island (I get that from my Sister) and from time to time I'll dip my lasagna in Ranch. I could go on but I think you get the point.
- I love love love my hair played with. I try to get my girls to play with my hair all the time but they won't because they can't stay in one place to long :( Josh will every now and then :)
- O-Kay this would have been a little easier if it was only 5 weird things!!!...........Oh (almost 10 min's. later) My right ear sits a little higher than my left. Added, my left ear is lobed and my right is attached. ( I hope that make sense to everyone)
- O-Kay this time I'm desperate. My eyebrows---Most people, if they can at all, can only raise one of their eyebrows. I can control both of mine at different times. :) :) :)
Well that was pretty tough! I don't think I could come up with anything else. I'm suppose to tag someone else but I don't know to many people that hasn't been tagged. So if your reading this and haven't been tagged yet guess what? Your It!

Happy Birthday Lydia!!!
My littlest girl is getting so big. Lydia turned 3 (already) this past Saturday and had so much fun at her Under The Sea Party. I decided that we would try having her party at my humble little house hoping that it would be a pretty, semi-warm day. Unfortunately it was a little too cool to use my screened in back porch. I had been worried about the comfort of everyone but things seemed to go well, although we packed in like sardines. I do appreciate everyone for coming and if your child didn't get a treasure chest please let me know. The Girls and I also had fun decorating and getting ready for the party. Except after the party Mommy got in trouble by Daddy because the ceiling got messed up from all the tape I used (we all can learn lessons even Mommies). You know, throwing birthday parties for your kids is a lot of work and stressful (if you let it be). I think its because you want their b-day to be as special as they are but I don't think any thing would ever match up to that. At the beginning of planning her party Lydia requested a mermaid cake and sense I always make my girls b-day cakes as a kinda tradition, I get that from my Mom and Sister, I wondered and wondered how I would do it. I stayed up very late Saturday night working on her cake. Sunday morning she ran in and seen her cake and kept saying 'My cake is so beautiful, I love it Thank you mom' She sat there at least 10 minutes just staring at it. She just couldn't wait to eat it, she is one big sweet tooth never can get enough. We barley could get her to leave and go to church.
My Cheerleader.
Taiah had her first game on Saturday. She did so good. Watching her cheer brings back so many fun memories from when I was little. Taiah and Maylee are growing up so fast, I am glad they can enjoy these times together.

Very Disappointed
I'm very discouraged in the direction that America has chosen. Race has nothing to do with it, its more about his moral stance and his policies that literally make me sick to my stomach. I feel most of the people that supported him didn't look into the facts. His CHANGE that he consistently talked about is not going to be the change that America needs. Although I am very uncomfortable with the outcome of the election I know that God is sovereign and in control. He is able to make all situations glorify him.
Main Reason I Chose Not To Vote For Obama:
1. I am completely pro-life!
*Obama supports abortion as a form of birth control (90% of all abortions are use for birth control)
*He also supports infanticide which is the murder of babies born alive after a botched abortion. Either they finish the baby off by suffocation or its laid aside for hours with no medical attention.
*Obama even supports partial birth abortion. What is Partial-Birth Abortion? Partial-Birth Abortion is a procedure in which the abortionist pulls a living baby feet-first out of the womb and into the birth canal (vagina), except for the head, which the abortionist purposely keeps lodged just inside the cervix (the opening to the womb). The abortionist punctures the base of the baby’s skull with a surgical instrument, such as a long surgical scissors or a pointed hollow metal tube called a trochar. He then inserts a catheter (tube) into the wound, and removes the baby's brain with a powerful suction machine. This causes the skull to collapse, after which the abortionist completes the delivery of the now-dead baby. -------I wonder why they pull the feet out first, is it just so they won't see the baby's face when they do this horrible procedure......sick
2. He supports gay marriage which God clearly reveals is an abomination.
*Where does it stop? What if someone says they were attracted to little kids or animals?
What about polygamy? Should they have the same rights? After all they might say they were born that way too. Should these people who chose that lifestyle get government benefits?
3. He actually had the nerve to mock the Bible. Taking verses completely out of context.
*Click on this link to see how he honors Gods Word.
4. Taxes! Obama wants to penalize the hard workers by raising their taxes and redistribute it to those that don't work or pay taxes.----Socialism---I guess we should not strive to do better?
5. Health care will be a mess if Obama has his way.
*Who do you think will pay for this so called free health care?
*Its track record in other countries proves it won't work.
*Get ready to make your appointments months in advance. Hope its not an emergency?
6. I Question his patriotism, and the people he is associated with.

*What real point did it make in not wearing the flag lapel pin or putting your hand over your heart during anthems. click on this link
I don't know about you but when I put the pieces of the puzzle together it scares me.
Maybe President Barack Hussein Obama (just doesn't sound right to me) will be the best president ever. But at the time of this election this blog expresses my convictions.
